Required Umrah Visa Documents

  1. Visa application form (typed or completed in block letters.) Two recent photograph (4cm x 6 cm) stapled to the application form in the box marked "Photo".
  2. A passport valid for at least six more months from the application date. (a) Those with multiple nationalities must apply on Canadian passport. (Send the ORIGINAL passport AND one photocopy.) (b) If family members are on the same passport, pictures and names of all of these members must be added to the passport by the proper legal authority. (Canadian citizens must all have separate passports - EVEN CHILDREN.)
  3. An airline ticket to JEDDAH with confirmed reservations from & to Canada. The validity of the visa is ONE month from the date of issue the length of stay is according to contract and should not exceed 9/12/2003. (ORIGINAL ticket and one photocopy.)
  4. Ladies and children must be accompanied by a male relative (Muhram). The Muhram must be traveling into the Kingdom AND out of the Kingdom on the same flight as the lady or child. Proof of relationship is required (a marriage certificate for a wife, a birth certificate for a child indicating the names of both parents. (Send the ORIGINAL proof and one photocopy.)
  5. Non-Canadian applicants must submit a valid residency permit (immigration document). (Send the ORIGINAL document AND one photocopy.) (Residence in Canada more than one year)
  6. International vaccination certificate: vaccination against Meningitis (Meningicocal) must be done more than 10 days before entering Saudi Arabia and must be valid for three (3) years; (Send the ORIGINAL certificate AND one photocopy.)

- One dose of (ACYW135) vaccine for adults and children over two years of age.
- Two doses of (A) vaccine, one to two months between each, for children ages 3-24 months.
- Cholera is highly recommended

Make sure to take your health certificate to Saudi Arabia.
