This site is an educational site about Hajj and Umrah. While we
may display ads for different packages, we are not a Travel Agency
but rather a good educational resource for those who plan to go
for Hajj. We also focus on producing educational material
such as booklets and videos on different topics and issues
including Hajj and Umrah materials such as Dvds, Cds, prayer
booklets and maps. The packages we display are affiliated with Darel Salam
Travel which is based in New York and Canada. Darel Salam Hajj Groups
are among the largest non governmental groups
in the world and have been in operation for a quarter of a
century.
The idea of this site was initiated by Imam
Dr. Hamid Slimi - a Canadian Imam and Scholar who has been an Imam
and educator in North America for many years in different Islamic
centers and institutions. Imam Hamid has been acting as a
religious leader of many Hajj groups by the Grace of Allah and he always makes
sure that every Hajji -pilgrim - performs his/her Hajj, in the best way according to the
way of Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S). He also speaks many languages and offers beside the religious guidance for Hajj and Umrah, a good and an informative tours both in Makkah and Madinah as well as other places depending on the program.
Imam Hamid has also written a very informative book on how to perform Hajj
many years ago. It is available on this site and for every one going to Hajj could get a free copy. It is called "An Easy Guide to Hajj".
He has also produced three videos; one is called "Hajj:
Meanings & Rulings", the second one is called: "The
Hajj Experience" and the third one which was released i 2010 in HD format is called "Hajj: A Lifetime Experience."
Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam and it is usually performed once in a lifetime. Therefore, we make sure that our Hajji understands every important step he/she does in this act of worship of Allah.
Before you go to Hajj a series of Seminars and Webinars are usually scheduled
4 months before your departure and more sessions and Seminars are
conducted in Madinah where rituals are preceded with more
information and guidance before you proceed. Moreover, we hold lectures, learning sessions during our stay in Madinah, Makkah, Mina and Arafat.
With our educational sessions and with Darel Salam Groups you will
certainly enjoy your Hajj or Umrah. If
